How do you know when God is speaking to you?
You won’t be able to hear God’s voice unless you spend time with his word.
Holy spirit leads us into all truth.
1. He will convict me
-when you aren’t living the way you’re supposed to be living.
-he will tell you to remove sin from your life that requires change. but if you’re not in tune with him you won’t hear it
2. He will show me a course of action to take
-sometimes this means being still
-he will give instruction one piece at a time sometimes.
-about the journey
3. He will confirm something that has been orccuring in my mind.
-confirm God’s will the closer to the deadline.
-like: exiting a freeway, you see 2-3 or 4 signs that the exit is coming.
-again, you won’t be able to see any of these signs
Gods will is revealed through his word. the more you make God a priority, the more clearly you’ll hear his voice.
